Refund/Cancellation policy
Making Your Booking
The party leader must be authorized to make the booking on the basis of these booking conditions by all persons named on the booking and by their parent or guardian for all party members who are under 18 when the booking is made. The party leader is responsible for making all payments due. The party leader must be at least 18 when the booking is made. All bookings must be made online via the website. At the end of the booking process, you are asked to confirm that you have read and agree with our booking conditions. Your booking will be confirmed by a booking reference, we will reconfirm your booking by email. The confirmation is sent to the email address which you enter/provide at the time of making your booking. However if you have spam filtering on your email account, our email might not reach you. Your email voucher will serve as proof of payment for your attraction ticket. You will need to present this confirmation email at the appropriate entrance to gain entry. You must take the confirmation email with you or you may not gain entry. Please check your booking confirmation carefully as soon as you receive it. Contact us immediately if any information on the confirmation appears to be incorrect or incomplete as it may not be possible to make changes later.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Your Contract
Your contract: A binding contract between us comes into existence when the final page of the booking confirmation procedure gives you a booking reference. This contract and all matters arising out of it are governed by English law.
The Cost of your Ticket(s)
We are committed to providing great value offers on tickets; where possible offering discounts on entrance rates. There are likely to be some seasonal special offers and in some circumstances prices may go up or down. The price of your ticket(s) will be confirmed at the time of booking. We reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices.
Changes by you
Once a booking reference has been issued it will not be possible to amend or transfer your booking.
Cancellation by you
Should you or any member of your party need to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, the party leader must immediately advise us. All cancellations must be made by contacting the site. As soon as you cancel, your unique confirmation number or email voucher will become void and non-redeemable. We regret it is not possible to make refunds in respect of cancelled bookings.
Changes and Cancellation by us
Occasionally, we have to make changes to and correct errors and other details both before and after bookings have been confirmed and cancel confirmed bookings and we must reserve the right to do so. If we have to make a significant change or cancel, we will tell you as soon as possible. If there is time to do so before departure, we will offer you the choice of the following options: accepting the changed arrangements or
purchasing an alternative ticket offer from us. If the chosen alternative date is less expensive than your original one, we will refund the difference but if it is more expensive, we will not ask you to pay any more
Cancelling or accepting the cancellation in which case you will receive a full refund of all monies you have paid to us.
Please note, the above options are not available where any change made is a minor one. In all cases, our liability for significant changes and cancellations is limited to offering you the above mentioned options. We regret we cannot pay any expenses, costs or losses incurred by you as a result of any change or cancellation.
Skegness Aquarium Diving Terms and Conditions
Skegness Aquarium reserves the right if needed to cancel, alter, or amend any element of the dive experience on offer to meet the operational requirements of the facility.
The participant(s) accept that responsibility or liability falls solely on them should Skegness Aquarium cancel, alter or amend the dive experience in any way.
If a dive gift voucher has been purchased, then it will not be issued until full payment has been made.
In the event of a dive gift voucher being used as a surprise, and the participant answers “yes” to one or more of the elements on the PADI medical form the dive experience will be cancelled until a valid Doctor’s certificate can be presented.
If the participant(s) fails to appear for the dive, or is late by at least 15 minutes, the experience will have to be rescheduled based on the needs of Skegness Aquarium. If a date cannot be determined within 14 days then all payments made will be forfeited by the participant.
If the participant(s) is unable to attend on a particular dive experience Skegness Aquarium will be happy to reschedule providing no less than 14 days’ notice is given. This 14 day notice will be strictly adhered to. If rebooking is required then a fee of £25 will be incurred. Any additional booking charges incurred will be the responsibility of the participant(s).
A PADI medical form must be completed prior to the dive experience. If the participant(s) answer “yes” to any element of this form then the participant will need to have a Doctor complete the second part of the PADI medical form. If any assistance is needed with this matter then please don’t hesitate to contact us.
The PADI medical form must be filled out honestly. Skegness Aquarium accepts no responsibility if participants intentionally lie on their forms.
All participants must present a letter of confirmation from Skegness Aquarium booking department upon arrival.
No participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be accepted onto the experience.
Qualified divers must bring all SCUBA certifications with current and up to date log books. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your dive and no refunds will be given.
Qualified divers must have a minimum of one logged dive within the six months prior to the experience. A hard copy must be used as evidence, dive computer logs will not be accepted.
Qualified divers under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present on the day of the experience.
Qualified divers under the age of 16 must have a parent or legal guardian with the same, equivalent or higher qualification who will be diving with them (written permission must be provided from the parent or legal guardian).
Any damages made to hire gear must be paid for in full.
Qualified divers will be provided with cylinders and weights as part of the experience. All other kit must be hired from Skegness Aquarium.
Qualified divers are welcome to use their own equipment but certain items are not permitted in the tank. This includes, but is not limited to, twinsets, pony cylinders, knives, lights/strobes, reels and dsmbs. The Skegness Dive Team reserves the right to refuse items of kit entering the tank. All personal kit must be rinsed on site before entry.
Participants may bring underwater cameras into the tank with them, however the use of photography is strictly prohibited.
Skegness Aquarium does not fill cylinders.
All PADI instructors of Skegness Aquarium hold the right to prevent any participant(s) from entering the main tank display at any time leading up the experience. If participants fail to meet any performance requirements of the confined water training session then the experience will terminate immediately.
If the participant(s) do not complete the experience then a refund is NOT possible.
Age restrictions may be in place due to PADI program standards.
All decisions made by the Skegness Aquarium PADI instructors are final.
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
Information we hold:
The information we hold regarding booking your experience and admissions includes: Name, Email, Contact Number. This data is secured and only accessed for the purpose of booking information.
Completed induction forms include Name, Address, Date of Birth, Email Address, Age, in addition to some medical history. This is held in paper format and will be kept for a period of 7 years, this is kept under lock and key and is destroyed after this period.
The information we store on our Database includes; Name, Town, County, Postcode, Age and Email Address, this is stored with three layers of encryption. This data is used for marketing by Skegness Aquarium or one of its partners for marketing purposes. You will not be contacted by any third party. Note this is only applicable for dive and snorkelling customers. You may OPT IN to be included on our database by completing paperwork prior to your experience. Failing to do so will mean no data is stored for marketing purposes.
CCTV footage
Skegness Aquarium holds CCTV footage for a period of 30 days and footage is only accessible by senior members of staff.
Video Experience images/Videos are stored for a period of 6 months then destroyed. Images may be used for promotional/marketing purposes where customers are asked to opt in for permission prior to use.

Annual pass entitles the holder only, to access Skegness Aquarium, Atlantis Adventure Golf, Skegness Mini Ports and a new yet to be announced attraction for 12 months only.
Skegness Aquarium can be accessed all year round including bank holidays and any special events that may occur. This will include the coral cave play area and the bistro.
Skegness Mini Ports and Atlantis Golf can be accessed throughout the year when available (weather depending) excluding weekends and bank holidays. Mini Ports this will entitle the holder only whereas a boat of 4 but only 1 annual pass holder present this will entitle you 10% off the full price of the boat only. River boats can be accessed at any time when running throughout the year.(weather permitted)
BRAND NEW FOR 2021 (unnamed new attraction) this will entitle the holder to access this venue all year round (weather permitted)
Skegness Aquarium holds the right to withdraw access to any venue or special event if deemed necessary.
Annual pass will give 10% off in the bistro when used at Skegness Aquarium, (please show pass when ordering as this cannot be rectified after purchasing)
