Adventure golf in Skegness: 18 holes through the lost city of Atlantis
Atlantis Adventure Golf is an 18-hole course on Skegness seafront, directly opposite Skegness Aquarium on Tower Esplanade. Every hole carries a piece of the story of the lost city, and it is open from April to September, 9am to 5pm.
What the course is actually like
You play your way down towards Atlantis, and the story unravels as you go. Colourful coral, mermaids, sunken ships and a submarine sit along the route, so there is something to look at on the holes you are losing.
Eighteen holes is enough to settle an argument and short enough to fit either side of lunch.
How much is adventure golf in Skegness?
Adult — £6.50
Child — £5.50
Family — £20
It is also included in the Skegness Aquarium Discovery Pass, which covers entry to three attractions. If you are visiting the aquarium anyway, the pass is worth checking before you buy a round separately.
When is it open?
April to September, 9am to 5pm. It is an outdoor course on the seafront, so it runs to the season rather than all year.
Make an afternoon of it: the Mini Port boats
The Mini Port Boat Hire sits alongside the golf. You take a replica boat out on the Skegness seafront canal and steer it yourself, which means the children can be captain while you spot the sights from the water.
Both attractions can be bought separately or taken as part of the Discovery Pass.
What else is on this stretch of seafront
The golf sits in the middle of a short walk. Skegness Aquarium is directly across the road, and Jurassic Falls Dinosaur Land is on the same site. A round of golf, the boats and one of the two indoor attractions fills a day without moving the car.
Where to find it
Tower Esplanade, Skegness, directly opposite the aquarium. See Atlantis Adventure Golf for details, or plan your visit if you are building a full day out.
